Veteran's Day at NES

On Monday, November 12th, Northfield will host our Fourth Annual Veteran's Day Celebration. All students who participate in scouting programs are invited to come to school dressed in their scouting uniforms at 8:15 AM.  Scouts will line the hallways waving American flags as the rest of our students enter the building and go to class.  We would also like to invite any parents or grandparents who have served in our nation's military to join us for the event.  We encourage these family members to come in uniform if permitted to wear it.  If not, we still want you to join us without your uniform.  Following Veteran's Day, we will be recognizing our own military families, as well, and thanking them for their service during our morning announcements from November 12th-16th.  Let us recognize you or an immediate family member by kindly filling out this form.  Our event will conclude around 8:40 and students will go back to class.  Students who do not participate in scouts are encouraged to wear patriotic colors to school on Monday, November 12th. We look forward to honoring all of those who have served!
