On January 9, 2017, the Howard County Health Department will be at Northfield to conduct vision and hearing screenings for all Kindergarteners, First Graders and students new to the state of Maryland. Your child will receive these screenings unless you provide a letter to the health room indicating your wishes to opt out of the screenings.  If your child wears glasses, please ensure that he/she is wearing them on the day of the screening.
