On November 8, 2017, the Howard County Health Department will be at Northfield to conduct vision and hearing screenings for Kindergarten, First Grade and all students new to the state of Maryland.  Your child will receive these screenings unless you object in writing.  Please send a letter to the health room if you choose to opt out of the screenings.  If your child wears glasses, please ensure that he/she is wearing them on the day of the screening.
