Girls on the Run for 3rd-5th Grade Girls
We are excited to be kicking off another year of Girls on the Run at Northfield this fall. This season, Ms. Jillianne Shear will be taking over as head coach. Coach Lynda hopes to be back to coaching in the spring. If you are interested in volunteering with the Girls on the Run program, Ms. Shear would love your help. Please email her at email@example.com for more information about what coaching entails and to find out if this is a volunteering opportunity you would like to pursue.
Additionally, registration is now live for girls in 3rd-5th grade if you are interested in registering your daughter. For more information, please visit: https://www.gotrcentralmd.org/
The Girls on the Run team will meet right at Northfield on the following days and times starting in just a few weeks.
Let Me Run is a program for 4th and 5th grade boys that combines exercise with fun activities and lessons to help boys learn teamwork, build relationship skills, create friendships, grow emotionally, amplify their self-esteem, empower themselves and others, and live an active lifestyle. Last spring was our inaugural season of the Let Me Run program at Northfield. In order to run the program this fall, we need a head and assistant coach. Please click here to learn more about the Let Me Run program. If you have questions or would like to volunteer to coach this program at Northfield, please email Dara Glenn at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for your consideration of supporting these fantastic programs for our students.
