Greetings Northfield Families,

We are looking forward to seeing parents/guardians of students in Grades 1-5 next week for Back to School Night!  Please see below for information about dates and times.  Students are welcome to come with their parents, but childcare will not be provided.  Students will stay with their parents for the duration of the event. 

We have invited many community partners to our events.  Please take time to visit their tables in the lobby before presentations.  Our partners have a lot to offer students and families and we hope you can take advantage of some of the available opportunities. 

Grades 1-2: Monday, September 18th

Doors open for parents to visit information tables in lobby at 6:30 p.m.
Classroom presentations and visits:  6:45 - 7:25 p.m.

• Team 1 will be in the classrooms from 6:45-7:25.
• Team 2 will be in the MPR from 6:45-7:10 and then go to the classrooms from 7:10-7:25.

Admin presentation in cafeteria- 7:30 - 8:00 p.m.

Grades 3, 4, 5 and GT:  Tuesday, September 19th

Doors open for parents to visit information tables in the lobby at 6:00 p.m.
G/T presentation in cafeteria- 6:15 - 6:45 p.m.
Visit classrooms for presentations- 6:45 - 7:25 p.m.

• Teams 3 and 4 will be in classrooms from 6:45-7:25.
• Team 5 parents will visit classrooms from 6:45-7:00.  Then, parents will go to the cafeteria for a teamwide presentation until 7:25. 

Admin presentation in cafeteria- 7:30 - 8:00 p.m.  (This will be the same presentation as Monday evening so if you saw the presentation on Monday for a child in 1st or 2nd grade, please do not feel obligated to stay for this portion of the evening.

Please remember, this is not a time for individual parent-teacher conferences.  There are many parents who want a few minutes with the teacher so be mindful of other parents that are waiting to meet the teacher, as well.  We appreciate your cooperation with this matter.
