We are so grateful to the PTA for providing every student with a Northfield water bottle.  Research tells us that hydrated brains do the best learning, so in order to promote optimal learning, we encourage students to drink water throughout the school day.  It is important that the water bottle is only used for water.  Additionally, we ask that you give the bottle a thorough wash every few days to make sure it is suitable for drinking.  If your child has misplaced his or her water bottle or if it has broken, feel free to send your child to school with a different water bottle with a tight fitting lid.  Students can fill  up at the water bottle filling station in the cafeteria or at any fountain throughout the building. Note: Kindergarten students do not use water bottles in the classrooms, and water fountains are available in each kindergarten classroom.
