KINDERGARTEN (AND NEW TO NES FIRST GRADE) REGISTRATION FOR 2020-2021 SCHOOL YEAR
 
Kindergarten and New to First Grade will be held at all Howard County elementary schools during the week of March 9 – March 13, 2020.  We will register kindergartners (and first graders, but only those new to Northfield) from 9:00AM-2:00PM.  Hours will be extended until 6:00PM on Tuesday, March 10th.   You should Register Online at https://www.hcpss.org/enroll/ and this registration is now open.  YOU MUST BE IN THE 2020/2021 SCHOOL YEAR WHEN FILLING OUT THE ON-LINE REGISTRATION.   Once you have submitted the on-line registration, please contact the school office to complete the registration.  Keep in mind that you will still need to come into the Northfield office to finalize your child’s enrollment.   The custodial parent must register students.  Please visit the Howard County Public School website, https://www.hcpss.org/enroll/   to determine what documents you will need to bring with you to register your child.  We encourage parents to register as soon as possible in order for us to determine staffing for next year.  We can’t wait for you to join our NES family.  We know you will love it here! 
 
After registering your child, please also sign them up for a Placement Observation visit, registration is required.  Next, sign yourself up for a Parent Orientation - this is a great introduction to how parents can help prepare for kindergarten; space is limited and registration is required!
