The Annual Northfield Food Drive will begin on Monday, November 20th and will end Thursday, November 30th. Please consider sending in a donation that will be given to FISH (Friends in Service to Humanity) of Howard County and will be distributed locally. All goods are appreciated. However, in order to have well-rounded donations for families, we are suggesting the following:
Kindergarten: Lunch items such as boxes of pasta or noodles, spaghetti-o’s, spaghetti sauce, mac and cheese, canned soup
Grade 1: Breakfast items such as pancake mix, waffle mix, syrup, hot and cold cereals
Grade 2: Lunch/Dinner items such as dried or evaporated milk, fruit juices, canned veggies, beans, rice
Grade 3: Lunch/Dinner items such as canned meats, canned seafood (salmon, sardines, etc.), canned fruits, canned potatoes (white, sweet, yams), canned vegetables
Grade 4: General pantry items such as flour, cooking oil, sugar, jelly/jam, peanut butter, cake mix, jello
Grade 5: Household items such as laundry detergent, dish detergent, toothbrushes, bath soap, deodorant, shampoo, toilet paper, disposable diapers
With your help we can make the holidays bright for those in need! A table will be set up in the lobby and boxes will be located in each grade level. You may also bring items with you to conferences. Thank you so much!
