Take your Child to Work Day--April 25th

Many companies and organizations host special events on Take your Child to Work Day for the children of their staff.  These days are often great learning opportunities for students and give them a glimpse into what their moms or dads do each and every day.  Even if there is not a special event, getting a chance to see what mom or dad do for work each day is often a fun experience for students.  National Take your Child to Work Day will be Thursday, April 25th.  We are asking parents who choose to take their child to work for part of the day or the entire day to fill out the form attached below so that the absence is considered a field trip.  This form should be returned prior to April 25th but will not be accepted any later than 8:25 am on Monday, April 29th.  Forms not received or received after the start of the school day on April 29th will result in the student being marked absent for Thursday, April 25th.
