Northfield is excited to announce a new after school running program, sponsored by our PTA, for 4th and 5th grade boys. We are one of five Howard County schools to have the Let Me Run program. Mr. Eric Myers, parent of a 4th grader and also a teacher at Long Reach High School, will be bringing this program to Northfield as the head coach. The program will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school from 3:30-4:45 p.m. right here at Northfield starting on April 18th and ending on June 6th. Let Me Run is much more than a running program and has a full curriculum with lessons related to building confidence, respect for others, and self-expression.
For more information about the program, please visit the program website: http://letmerun.org/
If you have any questions or are interested in helping out with practices, please email Mr. Eric Myers at myersfam100@gmail.com.
