American Education Week

Fri, 10/30/2015 - 6:55pm

The week of November 16 is American Education Week.  This week is an excellent opportunity for parents to visit classrooms and see what students are doing on a daily basis in school.  The National Education Association’s theme for the week is, “Great Public Schools: A Basic Right and Our Responsibility.”  This is the only week during the school year when parents do not need to contact the school ahead of time to set up a visitation.  Feel free to visit your child’s classroom.  We are looking forward to your visits!  We are encouraging our NES parents to visit on Tuesday, November 17th as our PTA will host coffee in the cafeteria at 8:25AM.  Dunloggin will be encouraging parents to visit on Wednesday, November 18th.  Due to parking, we recommend that NES parents choose not visit on Wednesday.
